When Video Games Live came back to Dallas, we were able to catch up with Tommy Tallarico, and ask him a few questions about the upcoming PBS special.  He gave us some insight about how the whole thing got started, what we can expect from the DVD & Blu-ray releasese, and a little info on that curious inclusion of Jamie Lee Curtis.

We also were able to see the Dallas VGL show on Saturday night, and it definitely had a lot of new segments, many of which had not been even created for the show the last time they came to town. It was a wild experience, and definitely something that all video game enthusiasts should check out at least once.  If not just for the music, also to see the cosplayers that show up for the costume contest.
