Harrah’s is working with MTV games to repeat last year’s Rock Band competition, adding a few new twists. Basically, bands of 3 or 4 members will compete in local events (of which Dallas will host one), with the top scorers from each local event winning a trip to Atlantic City to compete for the grand prize: $10,000 and a personal meeting with Ringo Starr! The Dallas event is taking place weekly at Dallas Woody’s Sports & Video Bar, on Sunday nights from 8 PM to midnight.
